SprayPy
The objective of the start-up is to manufacture and market specialized scientific equipment namely Spray pyrolysis machine used for coating thin films of compound semiconductors and metal oxides. This particular machine is developed under the SERB fast track project implemented at Dept. of Physics, CUSAT as per the U.O No. PL. B3/11342/2014 dated 12/08/2014 and 12/05/2015. The patent for this machine is being filed through IPR cell, CUSAT. Spray pyrolysis machine is used for coating thin films of compound semiconductors/metal oxides, nanoparticles used in various optoelectronic devices and for colored decorative glass coatings. This machine can be potentially marketable in R & D centers, Universities worldwide working on material science. Initially we are planning to introduce two models of the Spray Pyrolysis Machine, Model 1: Atmospheric pressure spray pyrolysis machine and Model 2: Low pressure spray pyrolysis machine that can be used for coating thin films at atmospheric pressure and low pressure/inert atmosphere respectively.
