Web-based applications are becoming so popular in our daily life in the sense that it would not go a
single day without we use them. As web based applications become an increasingly important in all
aspects of life, there is a need to encourage students to develop their interest towards this field. With the
aim of providing the students with a platform where they will be able to learn more about web app
development. The classes were conducted for two hours per day from 16-07-2018 to 01-08-2018 in
CITTIC centre CUSAT. The classes were handled by Akshay C J, former student of School Of
Engineering. Students who had no coding knowledge attended the class since knowledge of coding was
not a prerequisite to the classes. As each day passed we could see the progress in each student. Students
from computer science and information technology departments of School of Engineering CUSAT had
participated in the course. A total of 20 students had participated in the course.
