One day free workshop on real-world web development for students across the state was conducted on 7th
July 2018 at CITTIC by Talrop Technologies. Talrop Technologies is company incubated in CITTIC with
the aim of updating people with the changing trends in technology. They work with the mission of
bringing technological revolution through implementation of highly innovative educational projects.

The session started with Introduction to web development techniques to students with no prior coding
knowledge. Around 28 students participated in the session from different colleges in Kerala. The
students were taught the basics of developing a useful website using HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery.
The students got to learn about the following:
What to think about when designing a website.
How to show a user some basic information with HTML.
How to make websites look good by styling them with CSS.
How to add rich interactive features to websites using JavaScript.
How to publish your own website
